In MetaTrader4 (MT4) / MetaTrader5 (MT5)'s trade history report, you can check your past trade history, deposits/withdrawals, positions, trading results, and more. You can use these reports for your tax return as well.
Here we will look at the data shown on your trade history report of MT4/MT5.

Floating P/L |
Total amount of profit/loss for open positions. |

Margin |
The amount of money required to hold positions. |
|

Balance |
Account balance. Floating P/L is not taken into account. |
|
11 |
Equity |
The amount of money available for trades. It shows the total amount of balance and credit, plus or minus the floating P/L if there are open trades. |

The amount of equity minus margin. |

Maximum decrease in the balance as a percentage and in currency. |

Total Trades |
Total number of trades. |

The number of sell trades that resulted in profit and their percentage. |
