PC Change units for trade volume and P/L

On MetaTrader4 (MT4) / MetaTrader5 (MT5), you can change the units used for the profit/loss in the Terminal/Toolbox, where your positions, pending orders, and trade history are shown. MT5 also lets you change the units for the trade volume.
Here we will look at how to change the units for the trade volume and P/L on MT4/MT5.

Step 1
Right-click on the position in the "Trade" tab of the Terminal.
Step 2
Hover the pointer over "Profit" in the context menu and choose your preferred unit.

Step 1
Right-click on the position in the "Trade" tab of the Toolbox.
Units of a trade volume can be changed at any time whether you have a position or not. But you can only change the units for the profit/loss when you're holding a position. If you don't have a position, the option to change the unit will not appear in the context menu.
Step 2
To change the volume unit to lots or price
In the context menu, hover the pointer over "Volumes" and choose a unit. "Lots" will show trade volumes in lots, and "Amounts" will show them in prices (in the base currency).
To change the P/L unit to account's base currency or points
In the context menu, hover the pointer over "Profit" and choose a unit. "as Money" will show P/L in the base currency of the account, and "as Points" will show them in points.
