MetaTrader 5 features
MetaTrader 5 is a high-functionality trading platform born in 2012 as the successor application to MetaTrader 4. Compared to MT4, which was a 32bit application, MT5 supports 64bit and enables distributed processing of large amounts of price data sent from MT servers, making possible very fast operations with extremely low time lag from daily trades to backtesting.
Additionally, the updated MT5 comes with MQL5 as standard, a programming language with improved processing power and excellent stability, and is designed to support development of programs used for high-speed trading such as HFT and scalping.
Also, newly added to the lineup is the provision of Linux OS and HarmonyOS dedicated apps, and android.apk package, supporting a wide range of users.

MetaTrader 5's trading functions have also been significantly enhanced. Chart display supports multi-window (separate window), and timeframes have been expanded with the addition of over 11 types of short to medium-term timeframes such as 20, 30-minute, 2, 3-hour charts, enabling advanced analysis. Furthermore, wide-ranging functional improvements have been implemented throughout, such as the addition of trading support like market depth (inside market price) and economic calendar features that weren't in MT4, and enhancement of order functions like additional types of pending orders.
Additionally, FXON's MetaTrader 5 comes packaged with indicators for performing high-functionality chart analysis such as GMMA indicator and Sharp rise & drop indicator, in addition to over 50 types of technical indicators that are standard functions like moving averages, RSI, Bollinger Bands, enabling users to set up a strategic trading environment right after installation.

FXON's MetaTrader 4/5 (Windows PC version) comes with 20 FXON-exclusive indicators available for use from setup (as of January 2025).
The indicators include technical indices using composite moving averages for predicting trend direction and strength, an indicator displaying GMMA (Guppy Multiple Moving Average), and ATR showing deviation rate lines from moving averages, primarily focusing on oscillator analysis.
For beginner traders, indicators that can be drawn on MT4/5 charts and those displaying local time are freely added on to make MetaTrader more convenient to use.
